Chad William Brinkley

Chad William Brinkley entered this world on February 8, 1974 in Hannibal, Missouri and departed this world on Friday, June 16, 2023 in the Mercy Hospital of Springfield, Missouri having attained the age of 49 years. Chad, the son of Randy Brinkley and Debbie Dalton, grew up in the Rolla/Newburg area where he attended and graduated from high school. He went on to further his education by attending Purdue Global College and earned his bachelor's degree. For most of his working years, Chad worked in the roofing and lawn care business. He enjoyed being outdoors, so both lines of work suited him just fine. In his spare time, he liked building different things, especially with wood. He was talented when it came to woodworking. Chad also enjoyed music of all kinds and singing and dancing with his grandsons. On October 6, 2008, Chad was united in marriage to Irmengard Teresa Cowell in Mountain Grove, Missouri. They shared the last 14 years together, making memories and at the time of their union, two families were joined to include children, Devin, Linda, Jazmine, and Chad. Chad loved his family, and the highlight of his day was spent playing with his grandchildren. He loved his grandsons dearly and he treasured the times spent with them. Chad will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife: Irma Brinkley; grandchildren: Russell Gillis, Jameson Gillis and Jadelynn Allison; son: Devin Gillis and wife, Nikki Gillis; son: Chad Moentmann; daughter: Linda Daniels; daughter: Jazmine Oberly and husband Joel Oberly; sister in law: Maxine Thompson and husband Mike Thompson; sister in law: Lisa Cowell; sister in law: Christine Morrison; grandma and grandpa: Phyllis and Lenny Harris; aunts and uncles: Theresa Strawhun, Vicki and Bill Stines, Deanna and Donnie Burton, Cindy and Mikey Greere, Robert Brinkley; Cousin: Brandy Burton; brothers: Dustin Eads and Randy Brinkley; sisters: Cheyenne Brinkley and Vionne Brinkley; nieces: Madi Thompson, Sky Eads, Berta Cowell, Katie Russell, Misty Livesay, Jessica Cox; nephew: Mason Thompson; best friend: Steven Warner and family; mother: Debbie Dalton. Chad was preceded in death by his grandparents: Maxine and Delmar Manley, Jessie and Juanita James; aunt: Rhonda Smith; brother-in-law: Steve Cowell; father: Randy Brinkley, Sr., and stepfather: Jim Dalton. Even though he is gone from our sight, his memory will live on in our hearts forever. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2023, in Waynesville Roubidoux City Park, under the care and direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Memorial contributions in memory of Chad Brinkley may be made and may be left at Memorial Chapel.
