Cristopher W.G. "Wheels" McCauslin

Cristopher W.G. McCauslin, son of William F. McCauslin and Ramona McCauslin, was born July 24, 1989 in Fort Riley, Kansas. Due to his father being in the military, Cristopher lived in St. Robert, Germany, Florida and California. Cristopher spent the majority of his growing up years in St. Robert and attended Pick Elementary School, Wood Middle School and Waynesville High School where he played football and was on the wrestling team. During his junior year (11th), Cristopher moved to Melbourne, Florida and graduated from Satellite High School in Melbourne. Cristopher was involved in a dirt bike accident during Christmas vacation in California ten years ago and was confined to a wheelchair. During his many and long stays in the hospital over the years, he began writing short stories and had begun writing a book. He loved to watch documentaries, especially those dealing with history. He was an avid Denver Broncos and Duck Dynasty fan. When he was able to be at home, he liked to cook and bake. Whenever possible he would get a kick out of popping wheelies with his wheelchair to drive his mother (which he loved to call “Monda Lisa”) crazy. Cristopher was very fond and grateful to the Shriners of Buckhorn and the Shriners Hospital in Chicago and was hopeful that when he was strong enough he would be able to work there. Cristopher passed away Saturday, January 1, 2016 in Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, California due to complications from his dirt bike accident. He had attained the age of 26 years. He will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved him. Cristopher leaves to cherish his memory, his mother: Ramona McCauslin (Dennis Beamon) of St. Robert, MO; father: William F. McCauslin of the state of Florida; brothers: Erik, Jan, and Sven Knoerr of Germany, Zane McCauslin and Mason Lively and their mother Jamie of Florida; uncles and aunts: Mike and Michelle Lalanne and their children Morgan and Mason of Visalia, CA, Robert and Rebecca Parker and their children Austin and A.J. of Visalia, CA and Linda Arras of Germany; grandparents: Stan and Sharon Hayes of the state of Colorado, Garry McCauslin of the state of California, Leslie and Frank Cardinale of Lake St. Louis, MO and Charlotte Hansmann of Germany; other relatives and host of friends. Cristopher was preceded in death by great grandparents: Opal McCauslin and Margaret Lark; and great-great grandmother: Lula Jefferies. Upon his wishes, Cristopher was cremated in Visalia, California and celebration of life services will be held at a later date. “Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of the lost ones pours through, and shines down upon us, to let us know they are happy.” Finally at peace….In my heart forever on my mind always.
