Jacqueline Mary Pemberton

Jacqueline Mary Pemberton, daughter of the late Clay J. Pemberton and Vivian June (Station) Pemberton, was born March 15, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois. As a young girl, Jacqueline and her family moved to Richland, Missouri where she attended school and graduated from Richland High School with the Class of 1981. While in school, Jacqueline enjoyed playing sports, especially basketball. Jacqueline was united in marriage to Gary Henson and they were blessed with one daughter, Amanda before they divorced. Several years later, Jacqueline and her companion, Leland Atterberry were blessed with a son, Dominique. During her working years, Jacqueline did clerical work on Fort Leonard Wood as a government employee. In her spare time, she enjoyed oil painting, fishing, and watching movies. Jacqueline was a parishioner of St. Jude’s Catholic Church of Richland for many years and her faith was very important to her. She loved reading her Bible and in these last several years, you could find her at a Bible study with friends at Countryside. Jacqueline loved her family dearly and these last several years she looked forward to spending time with them, especially her children and grandchildren who she adored. Jacqueline went home to be with the Lord Sunday, January 15, 2023 in the Mercy Hospital of Lebanon, Missouri surrounded by her family. She had attained the age of 60 years. She will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved her. Jacqueline leaves to cherish her memory her two children: Amanda Roam (Tyler) of Richland, MO and Dominique J. Pemberton (Kaitlyn) of Richland, MO; three grandchildren: Carliss, Maeleigh, and William; four sisters: Joyce Douglas of Urbana, MO, Mary Nelson (Bill) of Richland, MO, Judy Pemberton of St. Louis, MO, and Jayne Pemberton of St. Louis, MO; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents, Jacqueline was preceded in death by four brothers: Jim, Jack, Jeff, and Joseph Pemberton; sisters: JoAnne and Jeannette Pemberton; and companion: Leland Atterberry. Even though she is gone from our sight, her faith and love of family will live on in our hearts forever. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2023 in the St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church of St. Robert, MO. Burial will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery of St. Robert, MO. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2023 in the St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church of St. Robert, MO. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Jacqueline Pemberton and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
