Jerry Loren Wilson

Jerry Loren Wilson, age 81, of Kaiser, MO, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025, at his home. A gathering of family, friends, and neighbors will be held at 12:00 NOON, Sunday, JUNE 1, 2025, at the State Park Public Beach 1 Shelter House, Highway 134, Osage Beach, Missouri 65065. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Memorial Chapel of Richland. Jerry Loren Wilson was born in Pulaski County, near Richland, Missouri on June 3, 1943, to Leman Wilburn Wilson and Mona Emeline (Hogue) Wilson. Jerry attended school at School of the Osage in Lake Ozark, Missouri. On January 14, 1963 Jerry was united in marriage to Jennifer Lynn Freeman in Osage Beach, Missouri. Jerry and Jenny made their home in Kaiser, Missouri and were blessed with one son, Tracy, and shared over sixty-two years filled with love, laughter, tears, and beautiful memories as they worked, and traveled through life hand in hand. Jerry was a heavy equipment operator and worked for AT&T burying cables for over 20 years. In 1986 he quit and went into partnership with his mother, Mona, for the next 30 years working on the 500-acre farm. Jerry was not a stranger to hard work and enjoyed cutting and bailing hay, fixing fence, raising and feeding beef cattle and calves; all the while building a store house of precious memories. Jerry enjoyed the little things in life and had a good sense of humor, never taking life to seriously but learned to find joy in each day God granted him. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing and deer hunting and like every deer hunter, had a favorite hunting spot. Jerry was a Mason for over 48 years and was a member of the Iberia Lodge 410. Jerry never missed an opportunity to spend time with his family and friends whom he loved so much. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents, and several aunts and uncles. Jerry was called home to be with his Lord on his beloved farm the afternoon of Thursday, March 27, 2025, with his loving family by his side having attained the age of eighty-one. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, and best friend, Jenny Wilson of their home, one son, Tracy Wilson (Doris) all of Kaiser, MO; brother’s and sister’s-in-law, Bob Pursel (Cheryl) of Eldon, MO, and Roger Freeman (Jo) of Payson, AZ; two nephews, Nick Davenport and Journey Brennan both of the state of CA; Jerry’s four-legged little dog, and faithful companion, Sparky; a host of other relatives, friends and neighbors. Jerry will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and a kind thoughtful neighbor, and friend. Though he is gone from our sight the memories he made while here will always be held close in the hearts and minds of those he knew and loved until we see him again.
