Loretta Sue Mallonee

Loretta Sue (Robinson) Mallonee was born the eldest of three children on March 5, 1943, in Enid, Oklahoma to Charles Otis and Marguerite Hope Robinson and passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026, in her home in Richland, Missouri. She married Herbert Eugene Mallonee on April 7, 1961, in Enid, Oklahoma. They traveled for work until settling back down in Enid where Herbert (Gene) retired from the Enid Police Department and Loretta (Sue) retired from the Northern Oklahoma Resource Center as both a caregiver and a supply manager. After retirement, Gene and Sue relocated to Richland, Missouri to be closer to her mother and siblings. She was baptized at an early age in Enid and attended Independence Baptist Church of Richland. Sue enjoyed the outdoors working with her hands and growing flowers. She was also very talented at all things crafts from making countless blankets for newborns, macrame, crochet, making clothes and crafting Easter bonnets with her grandchildren. Sue was also a confidant to many, giving guidance, council and advice, in a gentle or blunt manner, whichever the situation needed and was a mom, grandma or aunt, to anyone that met her, taking many into her home and heart without question. Sue is survived by four children: Mike Mallonee (Clara) of Versailles, MO, Teresa Bishop of Richland, MO, Matt Mallonee (Rhonda) of Waynesville, MO, and Antonio Stovall of Oklahoma City, OK; five grandchildren: Eli Mallonee of Versailles, MO, Logan Mallonee of Versailles, MO, Kaley Norman (Eric) of Peoria, IL, David Bishop of Oklahoma City, OK, and Cara Bishop of Ozark, MO; eleven great-grandchildren: Lylia, Adrian, Mila, Taylor, Alexis, Parker, Tommy, Kenny, Emily, Charlie, and Zayden; one great-great grandchild: Sophia; brother-in-law: James Copeland of Enid, OK; sister-in-law: Barbara Robinson of Richland, MO; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Gene; one sister: Charlotte Copeland; one brother: Leroy Robinson; one son: Harold Mallonee; and one grandchild: Jennifer Bishop. Even though she is gone from our sight, Sue’s loving spirit will live on in our hearts forever. Graveside services were held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2026 in the Hazelgreen Cemetery of Richland, Missouri with Pastor John Dinwiddie officiating. The song "The Old Rugged Cross" was played and serving as escorts were Eli Mallonee, Mike Mallonee, Logan Mallonee, Matt Mallonee, Eric Norman, and David Bishop. Services were under the care and direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Loretta Mallonee and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert.
