Margarita Guadalupe Cone

Margarita Guadalupe Cone, daughter of the late Filimon Aguilar and Guadalupe (Velasco) Aguilar, was born February 22, 1945 in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. As a young girl, she grew up in El Paso, Texas where she attended school and graduated from Bowi High School. Margarita met a young U.S. States military man by the name of Donald Eugene Cone. They began dating and were united in marriage on May 14, 1967 in El Paso, Texas. They were blessed with three children: Mary Ann, Tammy, and Scott. Due to Donald being in the military, the family moved several times, but they were transferred to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Margarita and Donald decided to stay in the St. Robert area after his retirement. After moving to the Fort Leonard Wood area, Margarita worked for a time in the produce department at the commissary on post. She then worked in the laundry department at the Life Care Center of Waynesville. Most of all, she was a devoted wife and mother and took great pride in providing and caring for her family. In her spare time, Margarita enjoyed watching and feeding the birds and taking care of their yard. She also liked to read and cross stitch. She was involved in her church, St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and a eucharist minister. Margarita passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022 in the University of Columbia, Missouri having attained the age of 77 years. She will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband: Donald Eugene Cone of the home; three children: Mary Ann Cone of Delaware City, DE, Tammy Sue Rolsal (Kevin) of Newark, DE, and Scott Edward Cone (Beckie) of St. Robert, MO; eleven grandchildren: Anthony, Terrance, Destany, Savanna, Darlene, Rodney, Chelsea, Kayla, Amanda, Matthew, and Raheim; six great grandchildren: Leo, Kalista, Hunter, Scottie, Myles, and Lucas; one brother: Arturo Aguilar of El Paso, TX; one sister: Gloria Asmussen of Germany; several other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 1, 2022 in the St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church of St. Robert, MO. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Margarita Cone and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert.
