Nancy Ruth Feldmeier

Nancy Ruth Feldmeier, daughter of Kenneth Wayne Simpson and Audrey Jean (Hannan) Simpson, was born April 30, 1970 in Trenton, Michigan. She grew up and graduated from high school in Michigan and then she began her life journey. That journey led her through some hills and valleys throughout her short life, but on February 21, 2010, after making a profession of faith in Jesus Christ, Nancy was baptized at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Richland. From that point on, her life was never the same. She had a love for Jesus that most people strive for all of their life. In November of 2010, Nancy married the love of her life, Mike Howard Feldmeier. They shared many wonderful memories together and three children, Ryan, Cassandra and Nathan. Nancy was a very loving person and especially loved her pets: her dogs, Ava, Chalupa and Merlin and her cats, Summer and Tiger. She also loved spending time with her horses and watching the beautiful Missouri sunsets. In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed being outdoors working in her flower gardens and especially liked daisies. She had a knack for making things pretty and loved to decorate and clean her home. Nancy enjoyed sitting down and having a good cup of Tim Horton coffee and visiting with her family and friends. Nancy went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 25, 2011 as the result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident, having attained the age of 41 years. She will be sadly missed by all those that knew and loved her. Nancy leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband Mike of Lebanon, MO and their children: Ryan Simpson of Rockwood, MI, Cassandra Rose Feldmeier of Lebanon, MO and Nathan Feldmeier of Joplin, MO; her father and stepmother: Ken and Susie Simpson of Rockwood, MI; mother: Audrey Simpson of Canton, MI; one sister and brother-in-law: Mindy and Jim Warren of Waynesville, MO; her father and mother-in-law: Howard and Ruth Feldmeier of Swedeborg, MO; her brother and sister-in-law: Tom and Tammy Murray of Richland, MO; one niece: Stephanie Murray; one nephew: Justin Murray; other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 29, 2011 in the Cornerstone Baptist Church with Pastor Chuck Baker officiating. CD selections included “Beautiful” and “Up to the Mountain” the congregation sang “I Can Only Imagine.” Serving as escorts were Mike Feldmeier, Nathan Feldmeier, Justin Murray, Ryan Simpson, Jim Warren and Wes Ellzey. Honorary escorts were Ken Simpson and Howard Feldmeier. Burial followed in the Oaklawn Cemetery of Richland. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Nancy Feldmeier and may be left at the Memorial Chapel of Richland.
