Natalie Marie Woodward

Natalie Marie Woodward, daughter of Gary Wayne Woodward and Judith Marie (Reynolds) Woodward, was born January 10, 1990 in Beckley, West Virginia. She passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019 having attained the age of 29 years. Due to being born into a military family, Natalie spent the first two years of her life in Germany before the family was transferred to Anniston, Alabama. In 2000, the family was transferred to the Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri area where Natalie graduated from Waynesville High School with the Class of 2008. While in high school, Natalie was very active; she was a member of the debate team, played volleyball and also played clarinet and piano. Natalie was very gifted in the arts and enjoyed any type of artwork, whether it was coloring or drawing. She was constantly doodling on anything she could find. She loved the ballet and even danced in the Nutcracker. Natalie’s number one priority was her son and she worked hard to provide for him. She worked at Rue 21 clothing store at Osage Beach before transferring to the St. Robert location. In 2017, she began working at Academy Sports store in Rolla. Natalie will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all those who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Gary Woodward and Judy Woodward of Waynesville, MO; her son, Jameson Woodward of Waynesville, MO; and a brother, Jacob Woodward; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Natalie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Alfred and Nadine Patton and maternal grandparents: Elma and Ernest Reynolds. Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 2019 in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert with Pastor Danny Graves officiating. The songs “Wind Beneath My Wings”, “Fathers and Daughters”, and “Good Night My Angel” were played. Serving as escorts were Dennis Hutchinson, Pete Bergstrom, Mike Hartness, Alfred Patton, Jr., Eric Jackson and Billy Ellis. Serving as honorary escorts were Wanzer Reynolds, Harold Burleson, Jeremy Moore and Kevin Hughart. Burial followed in the Sunset Memorial Estates Cemetery of Waynesville. Memorial Contributions in memory of Natalie Woodward may be left at the funeral home.
