Norma Lorine Amacker

Norma Lorine Amacker, beloved daughter of the late Melvin Earnest and Martha Elizabeth (Exendine) Rogers, was born December 8, 1936 in the small community of Bloodland, Missouri, where she grew up and attended school. Norma made a profession of faith at a young age. She was the proud mother of three precious children, Daniel Lee, Linda Sue and Janet Louise, who she loved and adored. When Norma wasn’t tending to the inside duties of running her home; you could find her outdoors working in her yard of mowing the grass. She loved planting and growing flowers and watching them grow into something beautiful. Norma was always on the go and loved to travel, she greatly enjoyed just being outdoors. However, she treasured the times spent with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Norma passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 surrounded by her loving family in her home, having attained the age of 79 years. She leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters: Linda Sue Crossland of Waynesville, MO and Janet Louise Klingensmith of Farmington, MO; four grandchildren: Adam Parrish (Lisa), Angie Phelps (Michael), Aaron Baggett (Amy) and David (Michael” Klingensmith of Farmington, MO; six great-grandchildren: Keshea and James Parrish, Hailey Baggett, Bella and Ellie Phelps and Mattie Howell; two sisters: Thelma Abney of Harrisburg, IL and Delilah Dyer of St. Robert, MO; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Lee Roam; her son-in-law’s: Dorsey F. Crossland and Charles D. Klingensmith; two brothers: Lloyd and Ules Myers. Though Norma is gone from or site, she will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, never to be forgotten. A graveside service was held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, April 25, 2016 in the Bethlehem Cemetery near Richland, Missouri with Pastor Christopher Hendrix, Sr. officiating. Favorite music recordings were played. Norma’s beloved grandsons served as escorts. Services were under the direction of Memorial Chapel, Richland, Missouri.
