Odalie Cannonier

Odalie Cannonier, daughter of Kenneth Stanley and Annie Christopher (Alexander), was born on January 2, 1962, in Trinidad / Tobago where she grew up and graduated from Siparia Senior Comprehensive School. Odalie was united in marriage to David Emanuel Cannonier on March 15, 2002, in Pulaski County, Missouri. They shared many wonderful memories together. Odalie was privileged to be able to stay at home, raise her children, and take care of her home. Odalie was a very creative person. She enjoyed writing and reading poetry and was a talented artist when it came to drawing. She loved to cook and bake, especially for her family. Odalie loved her family dearly and treasured all the time that they could spend together. Early in her life, Odalie had made a profession of faith and was a member of the Metamorphosis Outreach Empowerment Center of St. Robert, where she attended faithfully until her health began to decline. She loved worshipping with her church family. Odalie entered her heavenly home on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, in her earthly home having attained the age of 63 years. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory her three children: Chester Leader of St. Robert, MO, Camesha Isaac (Terrill) of the State of Hawaii, and Camilla Kirkman (Demetrius) of St. Robert, MO; her father: Kenneth Stanley of Trinidad; six grandchildren: Zikia Rankins (C.J.) of Springfield, MO, Zane Woods (Macey) of Belleview, NE, Zavier Woods of the State of Hawaii, Nakhia Kirkman of St. Robert, MO, Nalany Kirkman of St. Robert, MO, and Kamilo Leader (Jillian) of Sedalia, MO; two brothers: Adam Alexander (Anna) and Carl Christopher of Pittsburg, PA; one sister: Beverley Blash (Ray) of Waynesville, MO; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Odalie was preceded in death by her mother: Annie Christopher (2003); husband David Cannonier (2010), and son: Cheston Williams (2024). Even though she is gone from our sight, Odalie’s love for her family and her strong faith will be remembered in our hearts forever. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2025 in the Metamorphosis Outreach Empowerment Center of St. Robert, Missouri with Pastor Miki Collier officiating. The songs “It Is Well with My Soul” sung by Melissa Jean, and “Yes” by Shekina Glory Ministry and “Revelations 19:1” by Sunday Service Choir were played. Serving as escorts were family and friends. Burial followed in the Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery of Waynesville, Missouri. Services were under the care and direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Odalie Cannonier and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert.
