Robert "Keith" Lindsay

Robert "Keith" Lindsay, age 55 of Richland, MO passed away the evening of Friday, March 31st, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. "Keith" as his family and friends knew was an interesting, clumsy, goofy, generous man. Whose laughter was contagious and his smile comforting and kind. "Keith" who suffered many hardships in his life never gave up. In fact, a story told by his brother Kevin Lindsay explained the way he handled every hardship throughout his life. With a smile! One time when he was just a young boy, he and his brothers were riding the family horse they had. When the horse was scared by a cat Keith was bucked off the horse and taken to the hospital with a broken arm. The doctors put a cast on and sent him home. Upon arriving home, the family dog did not like the cast they put on Keith's arm and tried to pull it off but instead bit the tip of Keith's finger off. Only for his parents to have to return back to the hospital with him on the very same day! Keith's life would be full of many situations just as this one where you would think he had bad luck. Instead, to him that was just part of life. He laughed about it and went on about his day. Keith was the fastest tire changer in the Tri-County area! But, he was most proud of the work he did for Willard Quarries. In them he gained a slew of friends who he called "FAMILY". Keith was equally as proud of his two sons Caleb and Bobby who he always talked about with a smile on his face and such love in his heart for them. While we could go on for days about Keith and what an amazing man he was and how much we will miss him. That is not what he would have wanted us to tell you. Instead he would've wanted us to say, always keep going forward, make the best out of the hand you are dealt, go fishing as much as you can, love your children with all of your heart and laugh with your buddies often even if it is at your expense sometimes. Keith is preceded in death by his father Billy Robert Lindsay and his mother Margaret Ann Lindsay and many other siblings. Keith is survived by his children Caleb and Bobby Lindsay of Lebanon, MO, his four brothers Billy, Kenny and Kevin Lindsay of Kansas City, MO, one half-brother Chuck Cosselet and his chosen family Kevin and Lacie Karr, Randy and Amanda Gregory, Mike and Angie Dame, Johnathon and Melissa Stradt, James and Tara Brown, Jim Drew, Greg Goodwin, Steve Offutt, Shannon Robinson, Barney Weeks, Jamie McGowen. His friends Mark Karr, Gary Baranowski, No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Memorial Chapel in Richland.
