Rosemary Pinson

Rosemary Pinson, 81, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away on January 24, 2025 in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was born in Houston, Texas on September 10, 1943. She was preceded in death by her mother Clara Lou (Campbell) Pinson; her sister, Barbara Ann Tedford; her sister Clara Jo (Jody) Hart; and her nephew, Thomas Charles Hart. Rosemary graduated from Hot Springs High School and received her Bachelor's degree in education from Henderson State Teachers College. Later she earned her Master’s degree in Special Education from Henderson State University. She had a long career in education teaching and supervising in many school districts throughout Arkansas. She was deeply passionate about helping students overcome challenges. Her dedication to helping students navigate obstacles, both in and out of the classroom, made a lasting impact on many lives. In addition, she was a proud member of the Arkansas Education Association and advocated for improved working conditions for public educators. Rosemary was a truly unique woman in her pursuits, style, and relationships. She never shied away from being herself, confidently carving her own path and inspiring others to do the same. She loved her family and friends, and would celebrate any good thing, no matter how small, going on in one’s life. She also loved Elvis, the Arkansas Razorbacks, new cars, and all types of desserts. She supported the ministry of many local congregations in the Hot Springs area, and was a member of the Waypoint United Methodist Church, in Waynesville, MO. She is survived by her son Patrick Moore (LeAnne) of Waynesville, MO; six grandchildren, Keely Moore (Parker Davis) of Kansas City, MO; Drake Remington (Alyssa) of Kingsville, MO; Cole Remington of Blue Springs, MO; Eriq Gaskill-Kristek of Licking, MO; Catherine Poole (Bradley) of Waynesville, MO; Grace Kristek (Blake Bills) of Waynesville, MO; and three great-grandchildren, Trace Remington, Embry Remington, and Kade Kristek; in addition to several nephews and nieces, along with dear friends who blessed her in all phases of her life. Celebration of Life services were held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2025 in the Waypoint Church of Waynesville, Missouri. Arrangements were under the care and direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert.
