Sharon E. Hance

Sharon Elaine Hance, daughter of the late Simeon Timothy Frost and Una Mae Brock, was born September 30, 1962, in Naples, Florida. She passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021, in the Phelps Health Hospital of Rolla, Missouri having attained the age of 58 years. Sharon grew up in Naples until moving to Salem, Missouri where she obtained her GED. She furthered her education and attended Metro Business College in Rolla. On July 9, 1986, Sharon was united in marriage to George Franklin Hance, Jr. in Rolla, Missouri. They shared several years of marriage together and many wonderful memories before he preceded her in death. Sharon was a hardworking woman and took great pride in helping to provide for her family. After earning her degree from Metro Business College, she worked as a secretary for the Rolla Transfer Station. She later began working as a sales associate for Century 21 Real Estates in Rolla before she retired from her last job as secretary for Briggs and Straton in Rolla. She was a tremendous asset every where she worked. In her spare time, Sharon enjoyed diamond art, fishing, sewing, quilting, gardening, and spending time outside with the animals around her home. Sharon was blessed with three children: Timothy, Nicole, and Julie and several grandchildren. She loved them all dearly and was very proud of them. Sharon looked forward to spending as much time as possible. Sharon will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory, her three children: Timothy Hance (Trista) of Salem, MO, Nicole Hance of Salem, MO, and Julie Barnes of Springfield, MO; several grandchildren; three brothers: Ralph Sizemore of Bowling Green, KY, Jimmy Sizemore of Naples, FL, and Danny Sizemore of the Philippines; several other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Sharon was preceded in death by four brothers: Ronnie Brock, Dennis Sizemore, Dennis Frost, and Charlie Sizemore. Even though she is gone from our sight, Sharon’s loving spirit will live on in our hearts forever. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Ber Juan Park in Rolla, Missouri.
