Patsy Sue (Paul) Williams, Becker, Elgin

Patsy Sue Elgin, born February 13, 1955, to Hershel Oris and Emma Sue (Wilson) Paul in Lebanon, Missouri and passed away September 25, 2021, at Mercy Hospital of Springfield, Missouri, having attained the age of sixty-six. She grew up in Pulaski County and attended school in Richland. Patsy never ventured far from the family she loved so deeply. She was married to Virden Joe Williams and soon they welcomed a son, Eric Evan into the world. Patsy later married Terry Becker and another son, Terry “T.J.” Jr. was born. She was totally devoted to her sons and was always willing to come to their aid when needed. Patsy’s home and family were important to her, and she enjoyed keeping a neat and tidy home, all the while working long hours as a housekeeper for over 27 years at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri. She enjoyed finding and collecting Indian figurines, crafting, talking on the phone, spending time with family reminiscing about days gone by. Family meant a great deal to Patsy, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hershel, and Susie, beloved son, Eric Williams Sr., three brothers: John “David” Paul, Roger Dale Paul, and Oris Earl Paul; one sister: Janie Howell and one grandson: Anthony Williams. Patsy leaves behind to cherish her memory, one son, Terry “T.J.” Becker, Jr. of Waynesville, MO, 5 grandchildren: Eric Williams Jr., Aaron Williams, Justin Walters, Nisa Gleave, and Chase Emma Becker; 3 great grandchildren: Jamie Williams, Kessa Williams, and River Jade Walters; one brother, Danny Paul (Donna) of Richland, MO; three sisters, Paula Wright, and Peggy Hall (James) all of Richland, MO, and Darlene Finley of Lebanon, MO; her companion, Terry Becker of Waynesville, MO; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Patsy’s laughter brought a lot of love and joy to those around her. Her kind heart, and sweet smile will forever be remembered and greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Services were held in the Memorial Chapel of Richland with Pastor Danny Graves officiating. Songs “Dancing In the Sky” and “No Man Stands Alone” were played. Patsy’s son, T.J. Becker, Jr., read a poem entitled a Letter From Heaven written by Norman Smith. Serving as escorts were Donald Paul, Danny Paul II, David Paul, Jonathan Wright, and J.D. Hall. Honorary escorts included Billy Ellzey and Marvin Wilson. Burial followed in the Oaklawn Cemetery of Richland. Services were under the care and direction of Memorial Chapel of Richland.
